Julia Stacy is a poet living and working in Brooklyn. Born in Savannah, GA and regrets not having a southern accent. She received a B.A. in both English and French at the University of Georgia in 2013. In the time between Georgia and New York, she spent a year teaching English in la France Profonde (Bourges) and a summer where le soleil ne couche pas (Montpellier). Her favorite French word is chiant(e). She received her M.F.A. in Poetry from Hunter College in 2017.
